Here in tropical Singapore one has the pleasure to wear whatever your heart desires. Its warm enough to wear summery shades and light fabrics due to its climate and if you are in AC then it can be cold enough to wear light jackets and even boots! It's quite amazing, one is not limited to what one can wear, just need to know where one can wear what.
In this blog I want to share with you my discovery of this fashionable and stylish brand called bYSI. They have all types of latest trends and comparable to Zara prices and sometimes less. It's in between H&M and Zara in pricing I would say. This store seems to take inspiration from top designers and tweaks them into their own versions, much like Zara and H&M so you are sure to find on trend outfits. bYSI® believes that every woman should have the luxury to wear the latest and own a chic, relevant wardrobe that fits her lifestyle.
What I like is that it's very Similar to Sarah Jessica Parkers top which coincidentally showed up on my Facebook feed after buying this top, I love her style so I was happy to see great minds think alike :)
Check her top out below, yup I need my hands on that. Not sure about those jeans though!
Here's my makeup look for the top I'm wearing above. Like most of the time I keep my makeup pretty neutral and focus on the lips with a subtle hint of pink. I have actually mixed 3 shades together but you can always find a shade that's close to this.
I used Makeup Forever Water Blend foundation which I absolutely love! It's so light that I almost forget I have foundation on. The new formula is a little more hydrating than the older version so those with very oily skin may need to use a mattifying primer first such asMakeup Forever's Step 1 matt primer. Another primer for oily skin is Benefit cosmetics The Professional Matt Rescue. I really like this because its a gel type formula but its hydrating at the same time yet dried to a matt finish , Perfect !
For lips I chose a pinkish hue because I find pink works very well with light blue but bearing my skin tone I chose to put a warm neutral lipcolor first and then layered it with a pink lipstick to change the undertone resulting in a new warm pink tone. I finished it with a slightly shimmery wash to give the illusion of a hydrated and fuller lip.
