Introducing Baume De Rose

Luxury beauty boutique Escentials has not rested on its laurels, and is constantly on the lookout for new, cult and interesting cosmetic brands like by terry skincare to keep its very discerning clients happy.

Founder Terry de Gunzburg, who “has been called the Steve Jobs of makeup”, has established herself as an architect of women’s beauty who views colour in all its facets and depths, translating her philosophy into skincare and makeup brand By Terry. As former creative director of Yves Saint Laurent Beaute, Terry produced one of the brand’s bestsellers: the Touche Eclat. Today, By Terry’s collection includes stunning shades and colours, with luxurious skincare products ensuring a radiant base your heart desires.

We were invited by Escentials to try the new Baume de Rose collection by Terry as at an exclusive by invite only event. They threw a lovely tea party at the multi brand store, Escentials Paragon , who provided a bright and cozy vibe to showcase the new collection. We walked away delighted with our gifts which consisted of our favourite picks from the collection, the face cream and hand cream!

Face cream- reminded me of burying your nose in a bouquet of beautiful blooms. It is packed with rose butter, rose flower essential wax and rosehip oil to hydrate and cocoon the skin to prevent any dryness. If you’re a fan of the original Baume de Rose lip balm, this indulgent face cream – with the same addictive scent – is the perfect complexion pick-me-up.

Hand cream - with a non-greasy texture, it nourishes and envelops weather-beaten mitts with a delectable combination of butters and waxes, whilst the rich rose fragrance will leave you on an olfactory high. Boasting the same gorgeous fragrance as the original Baume de Rose, it smells like heaven itself.

You can buy the range at the Escentials store in Paragon.
